Overview

Vehicle Gateways allow drivers to automatically record the driving time and Hours of Service (HOS). The HOS logging or recording is an important factor as all the drivers are mandated as per the law to maintain their HOS. The Motive's Vehicle Gateway allows for a streamlined tracking process for both the drivers as well as for the fleet managers.

Key Features

  1. Automated Logbook: The Motive's Vehicle Gateway provides automatic logging of the hours, thereby eliminating any manual effort by the drivers.
  2. Real-time GPS tracking: The vehicle's location is tracked in real-time, that allows the fleet managers to monitor the exact location of each of the truck in their fleet.
  3. HOS Compliance: As stated before, the Vehicle Gateway automatically logs the hours of the drivers, that allows the companies to be compliant to the regulations. The access to the logs is pretty easy. Just transfer the information via email, USB or a Bluetooth device.
  4. Engine Data Monitoring: The Vehicle Gateway connects to the vehicle's ECM or the Engine Control Module to transmit real-time data such as speed, distance travelled, and others.
